Isobel Meredith-Hardy is a ceramic artist based at the Wysing Arts Centre. Her contemporary ceramics practice focuses on different processes of making from hand-building to slip-casting. She works with stoneware and porcelain, and is developing her practice towards working with Egyptian paste. Creating functional and sculptural art pieces with a focus on expressive form, bold bright colours and various handbuilding techiques she creates unique works of art inspired by the intersection between craft and art. Aiming to represent stories through her work and respond to a broad range of stimuli to express the connections between the materiality of human nature and the idea of the vessel personified.
